Who are we?
AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making, from clinical research to health and wellness. Today we are 55 employees, operating in the US, European and Asian market, with the need to expand further.

The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights – all from a single whole-body MRI.

AMRA Medical is offering opportunities for master's students to join our team for thesis projects starting in Spring 2027. We are seeking candidates studying a master within Computer Science, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar engineering fields to work on projects in the areas of image analysis, visualization, machine learning, and software development.

What we offer
We have several thesis projects in areas such as image analysis, visualization, and machine learning. The specific project you will work on will be determined based on your interests, skills, and background. If you have your own project ideas, we’re open to discuss those as well!

You'll work closely with one of our teams in a collaborative, hands-on environment, gaining practical experience while deepening your knowledge. The thesis project will tackle real-world challenges relevant to our business.

What we are looking for
We think you are a driven and curious person with a desire to learn and develop and are attentive to the needs of others. You are a service-oriented person who asks for help when you need it and offers your help to others.

You're pursuing a master's degree in engineering, within Computer Science, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline. We especially value experience or interest in fields such as image analysis, visualization, machine learning, software development, or MR Physics.
