AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making, from clinical research to health and wellness. The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights – all from a single whole-body MRI.

Job assignments
As an MRI Specialist, you will be part of the Imaging team and work with optimization of MRI scanning protocols and corresponding guides, supporting installation and verifying MRI protocol setup at imaging facilities, and training of MRI personnel on AMRA’s MRI scanning procedure. You will be a pivotal point of contact both internally and externally to ensure the MRI examinations are collected to a high standard and compatible with AMRA’s technology. Place of work is the AMRA headquarters in Linköping Sweden (preferred), or remote from other locations in Sweden.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with extensive hands-on MRI scanner experience, such as an advanced MRI technologist/radiographer or similar, with interest in scanner technology. As we collaborate with colleagues and customers all over the world you need to be fluent in both spoken and written English. You must have good administrative organization skills and be able to communicate clearly in a collaborative manner.
Additional experience that are valuable include:
- Experience with multiple different MRI scanner brands (Siemens, Philips and GE), and various scanner models and software versions
- Experience with scanning for research studies
- Experience with off-line handling of DICOM data
- Experience in training and teaching
